"Something About AJ" was released on
1 August 2002 in Australia. The controvercial film caused Ministers to retire and a
FIlm Festival to be cancelled when State and Local Government pulled their sponsorship mid

"Caught in the net" (working title) is a
film about TV Talk Show host who by quirk of interest decided to research a story for his
show with his "straw drawn" Assistant. The Show is an up
market Human Interest Talk Show bring to it's audience stories about every day people in
amazing situations.
The main plot itself is extremely secret. Only some of the
cast and production crew know what the last 15 minutes of the film bring to the
screen. Without revealing the full story itself, we'll just tell you the basics
about the "Caught in the net" episode and leave you in
suspense!
John Pope (Greg Poppleton) host of the Australian TV
Talk Show "The Johnny Pope Show" and his bi-weekly appointed Assistant (Trudey
Welke) have stumbled across an amazing Australian story. The Assistant amazingly
manages to get hold of the video recorded at the time of the drama and their research to
find out what happens begins. The intense research about the family brings their own
relationship closer and what they discover creates a range of emotional responses.
The discovery of the uncanny romance between Adam Todd (Shaughn Helliar)
and his wife Suzanne (Shelley Green) starts with an Internet Chat room
conversation and develops into a devoted relationship. Shortly after their perfect
wedding, Suzanne falls pregnant. The discovery and confirmation excite them both. But
their perfect birth plan is thwarted by medical dramas that increase wave after wave.
After Adam takes total control of the birth with the assistance of an angel like Midwife,
everything is again perfect. Until
Arriving home the next wave of medical drama begins. Nurses making Home Visits raise
concerns the baby is not doing well. Wild stories about a child slowly withering away
spread through the community. Johnny tells his audience that words can not describe the
events that unfold as the studio falls into darkness and the real video taken by the real
Adam Todd begins to play ...
The rest you just have to wait for! It will only be revealed
at the 2002 Cannes Film Festival and simultaneously shown in Sydney to the Cast and Crew
of the production.
The new working title "Caught in the Net" was
announced on 8 September 2001 after Producer and Director, Mr. Todd, made casting changes
to benefit the future of the film.
