Three things EVERYONE on the production is expected to provide:
  1. Reliability
  2. Reliability
  3. Reliability

If your late, miss a day, don't show up, call 2 minutes after you are due, don't expect to be invited to continue.  We're all unpaid on this job, we all rely on each other to complete our work.

  • It is the responsibility of volunteers giving their time, heart and soul to check with Iconoclast Productions for updates on dates, time and venues. We can't contact everyone all the time or we'd spend all day on the phone!
  • It is the responsibility of the Cast and Crew to urgently contact Iconoclast if there are any difficulties arriving on time to any activity.  Your running late makes the other 199 people involved in that activity run late too.  It's very embarrassing walking onto a set with everyone waiting for you!
  • You are most welcome to submit ideas, suggestions and comments at ANY time during production to the Directors Assistant, or if necessary to the Director.  You might be shot down in flames, told you're idea is worthless, but it will be written down, noted that you suggested it and probably reviewed and used later anyway!
  • The Director is an arrogant blunt pain in the rear!  But you have to love him!
This film will be entered into the Cannes Film Festival 2002.

A Director is only every entitled to enter the Competition section of Cannes ONCE in a life time and only for the FIRST film they direct which must be directed within 18 months prior to the festival.

This means the story itself gets ONE shot at international acclaim and winning the Festival.  That's the objective of this film, in part.  The other objective is to create a film that is such an emotional experience for the audience they will never forget it.

It is the ENTIRE Cast and Crew who will be responsible for winning or gaining recognition at Cannes.  It will be the Directors fault if it doesn't rate at all.

The script is totally secret.  By becoming part of the production you are sworn to total secrecy about anything you know, might happen to learn, or might guess.  You will destroy the production if you blab.  You'll also get into a lot of trouble with everyone else.

Only a few people know the ENTIRE script and story.  Others might become aware of the full story under contract of secrecy. Please don't ask anyone how the film ends.  Enjoy the suspense.  You will be far more thrilled and have a greater respect for your total work if you don't learn the ending before it's released.

It is anticipated that the film will screen in Sydney at the same time as it does in Cannes. Those who partake in the productions will be invited to the Secret Screening.   Those who can not make that date and time should notify Iconoclast Productions so that a VHS Video tape can be delivered to you at the same time or after the release.   Everyone who participated will be provided with one VHS full copy of the Production with additional Directors Inclusions and some "Making of" and Interviews. It's unlikely the latter content will be provided on any commercial release of the film.

The Executive Producers do request anyone who might happen to know the details behind the true story to respect the wishes of the families and production team and not discuss details, or speculate how the film may end, it's not all it seems!  If you have any questions please contact Iconoclast Productions.
